What did you think of the narration? "Franny" appears to be told by a straightforward third-person narrator who's not personally involved in the action. "Zooey," we learn at the beginning, is narrated by Buddy. Thoughts?
Well, while Franny's fragile state of mind was clear, did we need that extra element of separation to not really "get" what her breakdown was about? Not like a mystery, exactly, but we had to sit aside with Zooey to get to the bottom of it?
