As a change of pace, mood, and time, I suggest Jane Austen's "Love and Freindship" for our next read, though here it looks like the book's publishers have corrected her original misspelling!
I love it! I've never read any of Austen's juvenilia, except for bits and pieces here and there. But I gather she was super sassy and wonderful. It'll be fun to see the origins of her mature satire.
How you talk, child! A "breather" for the holidays! Pshaw! The holidays are the best time to read. (But maybe not if you're busy in Nigeria meeting in-laws. Hehe)

I didn't know there was any Austen work I'd overlooked! I can't wait to read it.
